House in Tbilisi

A spacious private home in Tbilisi, where contemporary architecture embraces the surrounding mountain views. The concept centers on an airy open-plan interior, soft curves and a calm color palette. Floor-to-ceiling windows connect the living area with the terrace and pool, while the striking staircase, sculptural lighting and bar add character. The result is a light-filled home designed for both quiet moments and gatherings with family and friends.

About the project

Private House in Tbilisi

The main goal of the project was to create a spacious contemporary home where aesthetics, functionality, and comfort come together in one cohesive environment. Special attention was given to the connection between the interior and its surroundings, allowing the panoramic mountain views to become an essential part of the architectural and design concept.

I brought the main social areas together in an open-plan layout, creating different settings for relaxation and entertaining. At the heart of the home is a double-height living room featuring softly curved sofas and a striking sculptural chandelier. Nearby, a spacious dining area with a large table connects to the kitchen with its central island and a separate bar area featuring dramatically illuminated stone. A staircase with glass balustrades emphasizes the lightness and openness of the architecture.

The interior is built around a neutral palette, combining warm wood tones, stone textures, and soft upholstered surfaces. Rather than relying on bold colors, the design focuses on layered materials, fluid furniture silhouettes, and distinctive lighting. Subtle green and terracotta accents introduce depth while maintaining a sense of visual calm.

Floor-to-ceiling glazing connects the living spaces with the terrace and swimming pool, making natural light an integral part of the interior. In the evening, architectural lighting, decorative fixtures, and carefully placed ambient lighting create a softer atmosphere.

The result is a bright, open, and richly layered home where contemporary architecture meets everyday comfort, and the surrounding mountain landscape becomes a natural extension of the living space.
